What We Do

Mashpee Water Damage Pros is a 24/7 water damage and mold restoration line for homeowners in Mashpee, MA and the nearby towns of Falmouth, East Falmouth, Cotuit, Marstons Mills and Osterville. When someone calls, we ask what is wet, where the water came from and whether sewage or electrical equipment is involved. Then we send licensed and insured restoration professionals.

The six services we cover are water mitigation, water damage cleanup, water damage repair, flood damage restoration, emergency water removal and mold remediation.

What Happens When You Call

A person answers and asks a short list of questions. Where did the water come from, how long has it been running, which rooms are wet, is there any chance of sewage, and is power on in the affected area? The answers decide whether the first step is stopping a leak, extracting standing water or making the house safe.

From there we explain what the crew will do first and what you should and should not touch while you wait. If anything electrical, gas-related or structural looks unsafe, we tell you to leave and call 911 or the utility before we do anything else.

What Helps Us Help You

  • The address and the nearest cross street or neighborhood.
  • Where the main water shutoff is, and whether you have already closed it.
  • When the water started and whether it is clean, gray or sewage.
  • Photos of the damage, the water line and any labels on ruined items.
  • Your insurer's name and policy number, if you have them at hand.

None of this is required to get a crew moving. It simply shortens the first conversation and gives your insurer a better record later.

Why Cape Cod Homes Are Different

Cape houses mix old shingle cottages, seasonal homes that sit empty for months and newer builds near the water. A leak in a closed-up house can run for weeks. Salt air corrodes supply lines. Septic systems limit what can drain, and bay-front streets flood when storms line up with high tide.

That mix is why we ask about the house before we talk about the work, and why the town pages on this site cover housing age, sewer status and flood history instead of repeating one script.

Standards We Follow

Two published standards guide the work. ANSI/IICRC S500 is the standard for professional water damage restoration, and ANSI/IICRC S520 is the standard for professional mold remediation. We name them so you can ask any company, including us, whether its crews work to them.

We do not claim certifications we have not been asked to show, and we do not post invented reviews, ratings or awards. If you want to verify a crew, ask for its license and insurance details at the visit.

How We Handle Price and Scope

Water losses are expensive when scope is vague. Before work starts we explain what is wet, what will be removed, how long drying should take and what the price covers. If scope changes because a wall opens up differently than expected, we explain why before continuing.

We do not use the word free for estimates or inspections, and we do not quote exact prices by phone. The right number comes from readings and a visit.

What We Will Not Promise

  • A set arrival time. Storms, roads and the number of calls change it.
  • That your insurer will approve a claim, or that anyone will bill your insurer directly.
  • That mold will never return. It depends on whether the moisture source stays fixed.
  • Health outcomes from mold or water exposure. Ask a physician.
  • That restoration solves a foundation, drainage or plumbing problem. Those need their own trades.

Local Knowledge, With Sources

The local details across this site come from public sources: the Town of Mashpee's hazard mitigation plan and flood pages, the National Weather Service, the Massachusetts Division of Insurance, FEMA flood maps and the town and district sites for nearby villages. Where we could not confirm a detail, we left it out or told you to ask the town.

That is why our guides tell you who to call at the Mashpee Building Department, the GIS Department or the Mashpee Water District instead of guessing at a rule. The Building Department main line is 508-539-1400.
